2015 — A popular pepe meme refer as limited pepe meme and in 2016 some Rarepepe mine on bitcoin blocks.

2017 — A company called larva labs created cryptopunks a collection of images into ethereum blocks as 10,000 unique cryptopunks. Another company called daper labs created a game called cryptokitties on ethereum . It become so popular that it blocked ethereum network
